Hi! My name is Spur! I am an approximately 1 year old Border Collie mix and fully grown at around 35 lbs. I have been with my foster mom and dad for a few days and am settling in nicely. I have lots of energy and would love lots of space to run. I love chasing my foster siblings around the backyard and then coming in to snuggle! I want to be anywhere you are! I am a super smart boy and already know some basic commands and have not had any accidents inside. I am working on crate training and will go inside and settle down quickly with a little treat motivation.
I would be best with older children because I am still learning not to jump up and I maybe too excited for little ones! If you are looking for a smart, loving, playful, handsome boy then I am your man! I would love to meet you! Will you please consider opening your heart and being my furever home?
Are you interested in adopting Spur or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.
Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org, faxed to 919-300-5524, or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center).
