Luke (located in TN)'s Story...
Another Louisiana treasure!!! Meet Luke, a 9 month old Carolina Dog type that came out of the Calcasieu Parish Shelter and is being fostered in the Nashville, TN area. His foster Mom raves about his behavior - just a great boy both in and out of the house. He's working on learning his commands, likes to go for walks, enjoys playing outside with his foster brothers and sisters....but at the end of the day Luke just wants to curl up next to you and share your spot! He'd be ok in an 'only dog' home, but we think he'd have more fun if he had another dog to play with.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luke (located in TN), a Cranston Carolina Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Carolina Dog for sale in Cranston, or seeking a Carolina Dog dog from a breeder in Cranston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cranston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cranston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Carolina Dog breeders who help with Carolina Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cranston paves the way for another one to be saved.
