Iro (located in Arkansas)'s Story...
Maybe we should give this great guy an award for having the most unique name for a Carolina Dog type....this is Iro (Sounds like something Scooby Doo would say)! He was listed on craigslist - "come get him or he was going to the pound"! We decided to rescue him and when we had him vetted it was found that he's heartworm positive......we have him undergoing treatment and soon he'll be ready to go to a home of his own. So stay tuned for updates on this beautiful boy!!

Iro is around a year and a half and weighs just under 45 lbs,,,,,he's a complete lovebug!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Iro (located in Arkansas), a Cranston Carolina Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Carolina Dog for sale in Cranston, or seeking a Carolina Dog dog from a breeder in Cranston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cranston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cranston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Carolina Dog breeders who help with Carolina Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cranston paves the way for another one to be saved.
