A.. Rusty - adoption pending's Story...
Rusty was pulled from high kill shelter. We believe he is a chi mix and around 2 to 3 months old. He is very friendly and loves other dogs! He walks well on a leash and loves going for walks. He also, loves playing with his toys! He would do well in a home with children. He is neutered and up to date on shots and is working on his house-training and crate training. Rusty is looking for a home with a lot of love to give! If you are interested in adopting - please complete an application at www.c2cnd.org and go to adoption process. Please make sure to hit submit - if you do not get an email back - it was not submitted. Once the application is submitted - we will conduct a vet check and a home visit. At that time we will review all applications submitted and pick the best home for that particular dog. The adoption fee is $175.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

A.. Rusty - adoption pending, a Charlotte Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
