My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPTION PENDING - Diesel is a darling, 6 pound, 1.5-year-old, male chihuahua with a gorgeous red coat. He was recently pulled from a municipal shelter and is in a foster home. Click on the green video camera to view his video! He is very shy with new people, but has already begun bonding with his foster mom and he really wants to connect and be near his person. He adores being petted once he trusts you and loves to curl up at your side. He has even started offering soft kisses. He needs a family that will continue to work on socializing him to people. He will do best in a quiet home with no children. He is good with both big dogs and small dogs and is currently sharing a home with a large dog. Diesel walks nicely on leash and is potty trained. We haven't heard him bark yet, but maybe he will someday! He is certainly NOT a "yappy dog." Diesel is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations. If you are looking for a mellow and devoted companion, Diesel may be the one!

Diesel is id #13110301 at Power of Chi. All Chi's are listed as spayed/neutered, even if they currently are not, since they will be fixed before the adoption is finalized. To adopt a Chi, you must provide one of the following: 1) proof of home ownership (e.g. property tax bill in your name, deed showing title in your name, or mortgage statement in your name); or 2) a rental contract that states dogs are allowed. In addition, all household members (including children) must visit with the Chi you wish to adopt.
