My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Slick is a 1 year old purebred mini Dachshund that was surrendered by his owner because he is special needs. Slick's back was injured at birth and though he can walk and run he is incontinent.
He is in no pain and is active and healthy.
Slick has been neutered and brought up to date on his vaccines, heartworm and stool tests.
He is very loving and affectionate and gets along with other dogs and gentle children.
We are looking for a very compassionate family or foster that would be willing to open their heart and home to this special boy.
He is very easy to care for because he is such a small dog(11 pounds).
He will come with a supply of belly bands/diapers and 2 years of free routine vet care if the adopter lives locally. There is no adoption fee for this sweet dog but a vet reference is an absolute must..
