Bailey's Story...
My name is Bailey. I am lots of fun to play with. It was hard for me to sit still for my picture....We have lots of toys, play mice and have a big cat tower to climb on with all my friends in the cat room. The volunteers love to play with me with the feather toys. I am in my cage allot of the time except on weekends when there are adoptions. We do have cuddly beds and toys and my cage gets clean twice a day, sometimes I even get a treat of wet food. My dream is to find a furever home where I didn't have to live in a cage anymore. Can you make it come true for me?

Bailey is current on his vaccinations, parasite-free, neutered, and tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. You can find him at Petsmart located at 57 Route 23 South in Wayne, NJ. We have scheduled adoption hours on Saturdays from 11 am - 6 pm and on Sundays from 12 am -6 pm. For more information or to make a special appointment to meet him, please call Donna at 201-873-7533 or e-mail startkayne@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a Elmwood Park Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Elmwood Park, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Elmwood Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elmwood Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elmwood Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elmwood Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
