Charlie's Story...
Meet Charlie! Charlie is a strikingly beautiful blue merle Australian Shepherd mix who is about about a year old. He loves to play with children and other dogs, small and large, and has been known to try to herd them both.

When he meets a new dog he will usually bark and/or growl at them initially to establish his position but then he is off and running, wrestling and playing. He is great on a leash and loves going for walks as well as playing ball. He already knows simple commands such as kennel, off, and sit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Coppell Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Coppell, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Coppell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coppell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coppell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coppell paves the way for another one to be saved.
