My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sark (aka Caesar/Frisco)(fondly known as Spark to his foster mom) is 3 years old and just recently completed and two week board and train program. He is a perfect dog 99% of the time. He is well housebroken, loves to play and loves to go for rides in the car. He rides nicely in the back seat and once in a while sticks his head forward for a little pet or kiss from the driver. Sark is excellent on a leash as long as there are only moderate distractions. He is very smart and loves to play. Sark has been left alone with free run of the house with no problems. He loves other dogs and enjoys going to the dog park.

Sark's ideal home would do agility with him, even if just for fun. He loves agility and it is great for his mind and confidence. He even enjoys
playing with agility equipment that is often found in dog parks. He would also love to have another playful dog in his new home. Sark needs an active home. Preferably a home with adults only or older, dog savvy children.

Since Sark had some very negative experiences as a puppy and spent a couple of years with limited structure it is imperative that his new home commit to continued training and structure for him. He also has some residual fears from mistreatment as a puppy; he has a very low pain tolerance and can be very frightened at the vet. This can usually be partially resolved by just dropping by your vet clinic and letting him interact with the employees there on a positive basis, lots of treats and good boys. There may be
other things that frighten him, so his new home needs to be sensitive to his needs and fears.

Sark is a handsome, lovable boy and is searching for that perfect, active, loving family. That might just be you!
