LITTLE TANNER's Story...
This little guy showed up in a small rural TN town with another pup in tow and charmed his way into a nice lady’s home for a short time while she asked Critter Cavalry Rescue to help find him a home. Little Tanner is an adorable, young Cairn Terrier mix boy, approximately 9 to 12 months old and weighs only 12 pounds. He is a very enthusiastic pup who loves to play with his ball-on-a-rope and take walks to investigate sights and smells. He has been working on learning the concept of “bring it back” but it’s kind of hard with all his boundless energy! He loves to jump, run, play, wrestle and of course, cuddle! ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Why Adoption is a Great Option

LITTLE TANNER, a Salem Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Salem, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
