Ginger's Story...
Meet Ginger – One very early morning around 3:00AM, barking dogs woke up an entire street in Greater East End because this poor little girl was running up and down in fear. Was she dumped? Was she lost? We are not sure, but what we are sure of is there are too many homeless animals in our community and throughout Houston.

Ginger is a victim of Houston’s animal overpopulation crisis. She was literally running for her life but fortunately found safety in a yard with a family cat.
Sweet Ginger is about 20 lbs., loves cats and does really well with small or large dogs. She has received all her vaccinations, been spayed, microchipped and is ready for a forever home. Can you please give Ginger the safe and loving home she deserves?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginger, a Houston Wirehaired Fox Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wirehaired Fox Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Wirehaired Fox Terrier dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wirehaired Fox Terrier breeders who help with Wirehaired Fox Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
