My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chester is looking for an active family that will include him in activities. He is about a year old and had a rough start in life. A kind man found him on a cold wet day on the side of the road after being hit by a car. He was only about 6 weeks old. His leg was broken and one of his feet had been mangled. He had been left for dead. The man rushed him to the local vet and then followed up with a call to our rescue group. Chester needed several surgeries to save his leg and foot. He spent much of his young puppy life confined due to his injuries. With all of that behind him now he is ready for a family of his very own. Chester was the first dog to go to into one of our new programs. He spent 3 weeks with a professional trainer. He wasn't a bad boy but he did need to learn how to listen. We attribute that to his confinement early in life. He did wonderful and we were so happy with our first experience with the trainer that we will definitely be doing it again with other dogs.
