You may meet and apply to adopt Gale at our ADOPTION EVENT on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 14th from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in IRVINE. adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

Gale is a female Yorkie/Poodle mix between 1-2 years of age. She has very unusual, multicolored fur of charcoal gray, brown and silver. She has been professionally groomed and currently most of her coat is cut short due to bad matting upon rescue. When her coat grows out, she will be truly stunning. Her fur is non-shedding. Gale is all girl, very feminine and sweet. She currently weighs 12 pounds and could stand to gain a few pounds. Her ideal weight is probably right around 15 pounds. Gale is a playful young dog and bonds closely to those she knows. She was brought in stray to a very high kill shelter where she was terrified. She spent the first 2 days in our rescue just shaking in a doggie bed. Then, all of the sudden she realized things were okay and she has blossomed into a wonderful, affectionate little thing. She is the first to greet you in the morning and gets a big, excited little grin on her face with her tail wagging non-stop. Gale will thrive in a home where she is kept safe and secure with lots of fun toys and unlimited loving. She is just now understanding that life can be good and happy. Whoever ends up giving this little gem their heart and home will end up with a darling bundle of love. Gale is good with other dogs and good with children if they are gentle. She is sensitive and will become scared easily by a lot of commotion or rough handling. Gale is excellent inside the home, quiet and well behaved. She is going to be a wonderful little pet and companion. Gale is healthy and ready for her new forever home today!

Gale’s adoption donation is $375 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Gale is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Phyllis & Richard and is ready for her forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

GALE, a Newport Beach Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
