Antoinette's Story...
I am a very sweet young girl. I love to lay on your lap while you are watching TV and lay at your feet in the bed. I really like my ears, chin and neck scratched. I am curious and love to play with toys too. I like to check out other rooms, especially if the doors are closed. I was rescued from an outside used car parts lot. I can’t tell you whether I was abandoned or escaped, but I am an indoor kitty and was raised that way, just one day I was no longer in my home and my foster rescued me from a terrible place. I love a small can of food in the morning and like a treat or two in the evening. I get along with other kitties, but I don’t go out of my way to play with them. I like people. When my foster brought home Kentucky Fried Chicken, I knew I wanted some. I got a little piece and loved it, but I can’t have much. Also, I was able to get some crumbs of some fine cheese and discovered it tastes good too. I am not supposed to have any, but if you ever have some cheese, you will see me watching you. I need a forever home where I can make you as happy as you make me. I have not been around dogs or young children. I\'m a Russian Blue mix spayed female. I am negative for FELV/FIV, spayed or neutered and had one (if adult) or two (if kitten) distemper shot(s). and a rabies shot if old enough

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Antoinette, a Colorado Springs Russian Blue cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Russian Blue for sale in Colorado Springs, or seeking a Russian Blue cat from a breeder in Colorado Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colorado Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colorado Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Russian Blue breeders who help with Russian Blue rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colorado Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
