CHEVY's Story...
Another great gift idea for the person who is wanting a black Labrador retriever puppy on your Christmas list. Meet handsome little guy, CHEVY. Chevy is a male, black Labrador retriever mix puppy. We have to say "mix" since we are not sure about his parents, but he does appear to be full blooded Lab. He is approx 8 weeks old (week of Nov 18) and currently weighs about 6 lbs. He has been started on vaccinations and will be neutered prior to adoption. He should be ready for transport the week before Christmas. He is just a typical little puppy, playful and energetic, and great with anything that moves.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CHEVY, a Glastonbury Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
