Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello! My Name is Nellie, Nell for short. I am a husky cross puppy that came to New Hope when I was only 3 weeks old! I was born around the end of September, and will be ready to move to my forever home at the end of November.
I have a real zest for life and adventure and my foster mom thinks I am the cutest thing in the world! I am looking for someone who can be my new best friend, who is willing to work with me to make sure I will have proper lady-like manners when I grow up and someone who doesn't mind that I only like to snuggle when I am very tired.
The rest of the time I am a typical puppy! But I am growing quickly into a dog that will probably be medium to large sized and need a lot of exercise and mental stimulation. But, for now I like chewing on and making anything I can get a hold of into a great toy, even if it's my foster mom's socks or undies!
I am pretty good in a crate at night, although I may have something to say about it when you first put me to bed and sometimes I wake up and have to pee really bad, but don't worry I will let you know when I have to go, trust me you will
hear me! I am working on letting my foster mom and dad know when I have to go out when I am loose around the house, and most of the time I run right to the door! but sometimes I still get caught up in what I am doing and forget that the potty place is outside so you will have to keep a close eye on me.
I hope that we can meet soon and maybe I can spend the holidays with you and help you tear all that wrapping paper off your presents come Christmas morning!
