My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is HAPPY and I'm a 3.5 year old mini male Dachshund looking for a wonderful new home. I am black and tan and weigh 10 lbs. I was neutered (not my idea) and current on all shots (rabies, DHPP, Bordetella & Frontline. My former owners let me take my favorite toys with me and now I'm just looking for someone who has time to play with me. I'm very smart and obedient and if you give me love and attention, I will reward you with the same. I would LOVE to sleep under the covers with you (please, please). I like to go for walks but when other dogs come around, I like to protect my owner and may growl at them. You can take me on car rides or for walks in the mountains. I love to run in the sand at the beach. I really want to be the one and only pet as I don't like competing with cats or other dogs for attention. PLEASE come meet me. I'll make you smile, promise.
