Kiko's Story...
Kiko is a joyful 5-6 year old, Shih Tzu/Pekingese mix who has been through a lot in a short time and just asks for a little love. This sweet girl was saved in a Kentucky shelter where she was found to be so matted in places that she was shaved down almost to the skin. Her little body has been through a lot but she is bouncing back with sheer happiness to still be a part of this beautiful world. Consider providing Kiko love, security and companionship for all the days to come. She is a gift that will begin and end each day with only YOU on her mind. Dedicated through and through. House-trained, crate-trained and ready to bring smiles to your face every day! Visit www.wagginghearts.org to learn about our adoption process and fill out an application today. Kiko is waiting to make your acquaintance!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kiko, a Hainesville Shih Tzu/Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Pekingese for sale in Hainesville, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Pekingese dog from a breeder in Hainesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hainesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hainesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Pekingese breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hainesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
