Holly's Story...
Meet HOLLY. For the past five years Holly has been living in a loving household with another cat - however about two years ago these kitties stopped getting along. Her family has tried everything to bring their house back to peace, however training and medications do not seems to be working. Holly loves her people, but hates other cats.

We are now looking for a loving home where Holly can be an only cat. Holly loves to meow; she is especially cute when she is asked a question (she'll meow back). She sometimes plays with little toys. She's not really a lap cat, but she often enjoys hanging out in the same area of the house as people are hanging out in. She is very "chill" (again, around people)... she'll spend most of her day sleeping in little spots she finds for herself, like in a bag, under the couch, on a corner rug, or on a cat tree. She loves to sleep on her back with her belly up.

She is generally fed her high-quality dry food, but her favorite treat in the world is wet Fancy Feast. Perhaps Holly would be the right companion for you? She is 5 years old and in good health.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Holly, a Bedford Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Bedford, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Bedford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedford paves the way for another one to be saved.
