Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We're pretty happy that Drake's former owner dumped him on the street for Animal Control to pick up! You see, Drake had not been taken care of very well, and needed some medical attention. He spent 2 days with our wonderful Tucson vet and came out a new dog!! He had to have several teeth removed because they were so bad, and he feels much better without them (and it hasn't stopped him eating of course as he's a true basset!)
Drake is a very friendly and quiet dog, we think he may have been de-barked at some point as he makes a funny noise when he looks like he's barking. He is very sociable and gets along well with other dogs, and he also loves people, he made lots of friends at the vet's office. Drake learned how to use the doggie door in one day, and may actually be house-trained without one. He's a handsome boy and you would be sure to fall in love if you met him.
