My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What tales this guy could tell. Houdini ended up with ACR after some well-meaning Bronx guys became worried about their favorite stray. He is microchipped, but his former owner never reported him missing and we've been unable to contact her. We know he lived on NYC's Lower East Side, but have no idea how he ended up in the Bronx. Just as Houdini charmed his tough guy buddies, he has made friends with the other cats in his foster home. Despite his age, he still zips around albeit at a fast trot and loves to play with the Cat Dancer. He has a funny alley cat meow but is a true gentleman in every way. Houdini is not a traditional lap cat but he always greets you at the door and likes to sit near you. In addition, he expects to sleep with you and is a well-mannered bed buddy in that he waits until your alarm goes off before he begins walking on you and playing with your hair. Houdini is an easy going kitty who appreciates the simple pleasures of long naps next to the radiator, big bowls of food, and cheek rubs. Give this sweet senior the quiet, loving home he deserves. Houdini was born around 10/22/01.
