BOLTS's Info...

BOLTS's Story...
Bolts, 4 years old, Male Boxer, 75 Lbs.
Bolt is very athletic and energetic, he is also an alpha dog. He loves to run, jump and play a lot. He is a friendly boy who wants attention. Bolts loves to go for walks, play ball, and run around.
He loves to be inside the home with the family. He loves to cuddle and be close to his owner. He likes to play with children.
The ideal family for Bolt would be one with children. He is currently in a foster home with a 9 year old who runs around and plays with Bolt and Bolt loves that energetic attention.
He dislikes spray bottles. Not sure why but he gets uncomfortable around them.
He growls when he sees other dogs but once he stands his ground he does better around them. He has a foster friend right now and plays nicely with her. Most of his energy is spent playing with her, so having another medium size female to play with would be ideal for him. Above all, Bolt is a wonderful boy~ Waiting patiently for his forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BOLTS, a Long Beach Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
