Shaina's Story...
Shaina is about 18 months old and looks to be a Great Pyrenees/sheepdog or possibly Poodle mix. She weighs 75 lbs.ad is spayed,. Shaina is HW negative and current on vaccinations & preventatives. She is house-trained & walks well on a leash. She does have a tendency to pull as she's always ready to meet & greet whomever she sees. She's good with other dogs, ignores cats and loves people. She would be best in a home with a large fenced area and needs regular exercise, particularly going on long walks. She enjoys being outside, but prefers the comforts of being included as an inside companion. If you would like to make this sweet girl your lifetime companion please contact lorainecm@comcast.net for info and application. Thank you for your interest!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shaina, a Allentown Old English Sheepdog/Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Old English Sheepdog/Great Pyrenees for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Old English Sheepdog/Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Old English Sheepdog/Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Old English Sheepdog/Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
