My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maxx is a black German Shepherd with one small patch of white on his chest. He is approximately 18 months old. He is a smart and well behaved boy with has a good level of energy. Most importanly, he has lots of love to give to his new family members. Maxx gets along well with most other dogs. As of September 2007, Maxx has received the 'all clear' from the vet and is now heartworm free and ready for adoption.

GSRCA rescued Maxx from a local shelter where he stood little chance for adoption because he was heartworm positive. He started his heartworm treatment May 15th. Because of his young age, he should have no residual heart damage as a result of his former owners negligence and will have a completely clean bill of health.

This dog is crate trained, neutered, up to date on shots and HW negative. Adoption application, home visit, and $300 adoption fee are required. Please read our adoption requirements on our home page.

After reviewing GSRCA’s adoption process, please fill out the application completely. This is the first step in our adoption process. No adoption will be considered or discussed until the application has been received.
