Brodie's Story...
Meet Brodie. He is a beautiful young lab mix pup that is around 7 months old. We think he is mixed with Besenji so he will be petite. He has a light colored coat with a little bit of white on the face and a white stripe down the back of his head. He loves playing with his toys, the three big dogs in his foster home and he loves being around children. He has a sweet, gentle personality and loves attention. He follows his foster mom around everywhere and is easy to take places because he is so well behaved. He loves going for walks and is crate trained and house trained. Brodie is still young and needs lots of love and attention, but would do well in any family. If you are interested in meeting him, please email Brodie is located in Huntsville, AL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brodie, a Marietta Labrador Retriever/Basenji dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Basenji for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Basenji dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Basenji breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Basenji rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
