Here's what the humans have to say about me:
1/1/08
Jake has been with us for a little while now and having him stay with us has been a pleasure. Prior to coming to us he lived with his brother. Because of this and his personality we feel it is best that he goes to a home with another dog. He greets us with tons of boxer wiggles and kisses. He and his foster brother and sister run around the backyard like crazy and when inside cuddle up together in their dog beds. Jake does not jump up on the furniture. He does snuggles with everyone in the people bed, before retiring to the dog bed on the floor at night. He wants tons of love, attention, and snuggles. He is a big lover!!! Pretty laid back, too. There have been no signs of food aggression. He is completely house broken. Jake responds very well to his name, also takes correction extremely well. He has proven to be a quick learner. Since he has been here he has learned to sit but we are still working on correcting the jumping up on people. He has been for a few walks and pulls on the leash, so he will need some work with this and basic commands. A neighbors dog was loose on one of our walks and ran to us, Jake didn’t seem to mind just sniffed and moved on. We have had company over and he is not a problem at all. There has been minimal barking. The UPS guy came here often prior to the holidays, our dogs barked and he just sat and observed. We all went to my mom’s for Xmas and being in a strange house with people he never met, he was well behaved and didn’t even sniff the tree. Jake rides well in the car, too! I can’t say enough about this love bug. Please consider providing Jake with his forever home and family.

Meet Jake. He is currently in a nice warm foster home and is adjusting very nicely. He really loves his new foster brother and sister. Everyone is having a great time! He is such a sweetheart and gives tons of kisses. Jake's holiday wish is to find a family to love him. Please fill out an application to make Jake's wish come true. Stay tuned for updates.
