Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Angelina. She is a beautiful, purebred black and tan Doberman Pinscher female. As you can see, her ears are cropped (and one is flopped down), and her tail is docked. Angelina is the mom to the litter of pups you see on our website. They are now old enough to be adopted and thus, Angelina is ready to find a loving home of her own. Our vet thinks that Angelina is about 1.5 yrs old and she is on the smaller side, weighing about 62 lbs.
Angelina is crate trained and rides very well in the car. She enjoys walks and she walks nicely on a leash.
She was picked up as a stray with another male Doberman (who has already found a family to love him and has been adopted and who was the father of her litter of pups). Thus, we know that she does well with another compatible large breed male dog. She doesn't care for rough wrestling and rough play with other dogs, but, doesn't mind a respectful dog that might like a race me chase me and a little light wrestling. When we walk her, we noticed that she does focus pretty strongly on cats. Thus, perhaps a home without cats might be the best fit for her. She can be goofy and silly and she also comes up for love and attention and loves to be petted. This is a lovely girl is fairly social with everyone she meets. She is doing pretty well on her housetraining and we feel that her transition into a home as an inside dog should go fairly smoothly. Pretty Angelina is looking for a loving home.
