Jefferson aka Jeffy's Story...
Jefferson annd his littermates were born on the 4th of July, 2013. Jeffy is the runt of the litter, sweet , gentle and affectionate. He loves to play and has a sweet purr when you hold him. He is very well taken care of by his sister Sparky, they are big buddies. The litter has had all their shots including FRVCT and Feline Leukemia and his rabies shot will be given on 11/25/13 when he is neutered. They have been kept completely indoors and are well socialized with my 88 pound dog. They don't seem to like the small dog but Jeffy is very fond of the big one. He head boops her and rubs up against her legs. Adoption fee is $110. Jeffy will only be about 10 pounds or so when full grown. He is such a sweet heart.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jefferson aka Jeffy, a Acworth American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Acworth, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Acworth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Acworth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Acworth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Acworth paves the way for another one to be saved.
