Max's Story...
Max is a 2 year old neutered male. He is 23 pounds, Black and White with a few streaks of brindle, and a cute stubby corkscrew tail. He was an owner surrender after his original owner left Max with a grandmother who could not keep him. He gets along well with other dogs and children. Max is full of energy and enjoys playing fetch, and wrestling or playing tug with his foster brother, but also will sunbathe on the patio for hours. He also likes to cuddle and snuggle with his humans and his foster brother, and enjoys being the center of attention. Everyone in the neighborhood stops to pet Max on his walk. Max is very smart, wants to please his foster mom, knows all the basic commands but likes to stretch the limits at times. He is housebroken and crate trained. His foster mom says he will be a great dog for some lucky family. Max is being fostered in the Tampa, FL area. You can contact his foster mom at denirose@hotmail.com.
Max' adoption fee is $350 tohelp offset vet costs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Jackson Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier for sale in Jackson, or seeking a Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
