Marvin's Story...
Little Man Marvin was just so cute we couldn’t leave him behind at the shelter. He is a two year Boston/Chihuahua mix weighing a big 13 pounds. His coat is a beautiful red/brown brindle with white on his chest and muzzle. When Marvin first came to his foster home he was not doing well with his other male foster dogs. Since then, the other male foster has been adopted and Marvin is a totally different dog. He is calm, no food aggression, relaxed and basically loving life. They say dogs live in the moment and Marvin is a great example of this. He sleeps in his crate at night but gets to sneak in the human bed every now and then. He walks well on his leash and takes his bath and nail trims like a champ. He can leap like a frog and run like rabbit so his forever home backyard should definitely be secure. He would do well in an apartment setting as a single pet or with a larger female dog who is gentle in nature. While Marvin is not a pure bred Boston, he is still a total love bug and really deserves a forever home. Please contact his foster mom Mcmullan.tracy1988@yahoo.com for any questions.
Marvin is fostered in Nashville, TN and adoption fee is $325.
Paws crossed...Marvi

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marvin, a Jackson Boston Terrier/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Jackson, or seeking a Boston Terrier/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Boston Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
