Collin's Story...
What a handsome little tri-color boy our Collin is! Probably a little over a year old, Collin has such sweet puppy-like mannerisms and is very eager to please. He is a gentle boy who loves cuddles. He is fully vetted and ready to go to a new home. He is good on leash but has a high prey drive, so no cats or small furries! Foster mom Carol says “He is wonderful, playful and a pure joy to be around. He's so smart too, he went right to the doggy door to go out. He found his place on the couch next to me and lays his head on my lap to sleep. I’m totally in love with him!” It sounds like you had better get your adoption application in for Collin soon, before Carol becomes a foster-failure!!

If you would like to adopt one of our rescue bullies, please submit our adoption application found on our website www.texasbullterrier.org/rescue_information.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Collin, a Houston Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bull Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bull Terrier breeders who help with Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
