Sunshine's Story...
Sunshine is one of our wonderful senior dogs. She brings lots of sunshine to the day with those cute floppy ears. She is a volunteer favorite. She is very sweet and affectionate, and gets along with other dogs well. She still has plenty of energy left to have fun. She is quiet, easy going, and low maintenance. She just wants to be with you and be loved on. She looks like she has had a tough life, and is looking for a loving family to spend her golden years with. She would be a perfect dog for a laid back family. If you have room in your heart and home for this loveable girl, please contact us for a meet and greet.

If you would like to meet Sunshine just contact us at gsdadoption@savingpawsrescueaz.com or #480-737-6089 for an appointment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sunshine, a Phoenix German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
