Hi! I'm Charlie. I'm a very happy boy, full of energy and love. My foster mom takes me for lots of walks and I'm learning to listen to her and obey commands. I love to be outside! I have been living with another dog and foster family and I've been a really good boy with them all but I really respect my foster mom and do anything she asks me to. My favourite toy is a Kong, but watch out for knock offs because I will destroy them in no time flat. My foster mom says I'm a really great chewer! She also says it's a good thing I only chew toys and stuffies and not people-stuff. I like to play fetch and tug of war the best. I can play for a good long time, but then I like to find a spot and go to sleep. At night I sleep with my foster mom, tucked right down in her blankets. I love to be cuddled and loved. I feel very happy now and am always smiling - I even started to like giving kisses :) I am curious and like to explore things, whether it's inside the house or out. There are a lot of great smells!! I know a lot of words and am learning more all the time. I can sit, give a paw, drop it, give (except for my Kong, and then you have to play with me first!) - I even know the words 'hungry,' 'go for a walk,' 'go pee,' and 'cookie'. If you say cookie or even just shake a box of treats I always sit because I'm such a good boy. I didn't have a very happy past and I don't like to be yelled at. If I do something wrong, please just tell me and show me the right thing but don't yell or tell me I'm bad. I wasn't shown the right way before and I'm learning really fast but it might take some love and patience from you. I get scared sometimes and I think you might hit me so teach me your way and reward me when I do a good job. All I need is love and a forever family to call my own
