My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rosa is a beautiful violet adult female and a big girl. She was bought by a breeder in TN but then started chewing her fur. Instead of destroying her, the breeder brought her to us for possible rehabilitation and adoption as a pet. We have worked with Rosa and watched her change into a chin who can run and jump. She has become used to a very large cage and exercise wheel. Rosa has learned to accept treats and is getting used to being scritched. She has reacted favorably to different women.


Rosa is not to be bred. She has been examined by our vet and is healthy. Her fur chewing has lessened but it is unknown if it will completely stop.


An approved cage, a 15" Quality Cage chinspin exercise wheel and a wire carrier are required and a donation of $75 is requested as an adoption fee. A sleep tube, hammock, hidey house, hay bin, toys, food bowl, water bottle, chill pad and more are included. For more information, please see our website: www.nolachinchillarescue.org
