Romeo's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Romeo's Story...
Little Romeo was relinquished to our rescue because he was no longer a valued family member. Why? Because he is now neutered and he was used as a stud dog. He is the sweetest boy, but has had a pretty tough life for a 9 lb. dog. He is used to being outside during the day and sleeps in a crate at night. He much prefers my lap!

He was so badly matted the groomer had to shave him completely down to his skin. He has several flea bites, but they will quickly heal since he is now flea free!

Romeo is UTD on shots, neutered, HW negative and on preventative. He gets along with other dogs, does not like cats (he will chase them) and has been around lots of children!

He is still in east Tennessee in foster care and will be transported upon adoption. Alpha Dog transport charges $125 for their services and has several stops in CT, ME and VT.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo, a Providence Bolognese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bolognese for sale in Providence, or seeking a Bolognese dog from a breeder in Providence.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Providence already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Providence breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bolognese breeders who help with Bolognese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Providence paves the way for another one to be saved.
