Merlin's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Merlin's Story...
Merlin loves spending his days playing with his fellow foster dogs and cats! He is terrific with everyone and doesn't seem to discriminate - he believes dogs and cats alike are terrific! He doesn't mind at all taking time out of playing to check in with his two legged friends to make sure all is well with them too! Merlin has bee raised with children, and does very well with them.

Born in late June 2013, Merlin came into our rescue from a kill shelter in Tennessee. This striking black and brindle ball of love is that perfect medium size to add to a family who spends their days being active and their evenings snuggled up together. Is this what you're looking for?

Puppies this age become what new owners mold them into. They are sweet, loving, happy, and eager to learn. They need to be taught and trained. They look at other animals as playmates. It is up to new owners to keep them animal friendly and turn them into wonderful family pets.

We are a shelterless rescue, which means we do not have a physical location, so it is not possible to come to see multiple dogs at one time. Our adoption fee is $450 and includes all their vetting, including their spay/neuter, and transport up to the Northeast.***

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Merlin, a Conway Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Conway, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Conway.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Conway already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Conway breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Conway paves the way for another one to be saved.
