My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Topper is his name and lovin' is his game! A lot of personality in a little package weighing in at 18 lb. and 6 years of age. He's had one eye removed due to an injury . His good eye has a cloudy haze but it doesn't detract his ability to see how beautiful you are.

Topper is a happy , happy guy . Just wanting a wonderful home where someone is home most of the day for him to adore them and shower them with kisses. Did I say he lovese giving kisses.. yep .. a real Romeo. Gets along with other dogs .. big and small as long as they are stable ,well balanced and not aggressive towards him.

Peanut butter is Topper's favorite treat. A KONG filled with it every night makes him happy. Sleeps in a crate like a good boy without a fuss. But loves cuddle time on the bed when he can get it. Topper walks wonderful on a leash and likes car rides.

He knows how to use a doggie door and loves being outside in the sunshine with the other dogs. We're working on his potty-training and getting him to understand what to do out side. He is very smart so shouldn't take long. I use a belly band when he is not being watched. I will send them along to his new home.

He is neutered, has had his teeth cleaned, had all his vaccines and has been microchipped. He has tested positive for heartworms, but is on the slow-kill method of heartworm treatment. This method involves giving pills and he should be negative in 12-15 months. To find out more about this treatment, call Susie at 706-726-2221.
