Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"Becca" is a 1-yo spayed female GSD who is very sweet and energetic. She craves attention and loves to be petted. Becca is good w/ strangers and young children. (She presently lives w/ two 2-yo kids.) Becca is fine with other dogs, and can be very playful with submissive dogs. However, she is somewhat fearful of dogs that are dominant or overbearing. Therefore, we recommend a home for Becca with either an easy-going dog (either male or female), or no other dog. We have not had Becca around cats, so will only place her in a home without cats. Becca weighs about 55 lbs.
Becca is housetrained and well-behaved indoors. She has learned a few basic commands but would definitely benefit from a formal obedience training program. She is still somewhat mouthy, but stops quickly when told to. She walks good on a leash and rides well in a car.
Becca needs a home in which she receives a great deal of exercise, attention, and some basic training. She will not be suitable for a home in which she is left alone for 8 hrs/day.
GSRSV rescued Becca from the Merced County Shelter on 11-9-13, and she went straight to a foster home in Brentwood (near Antioch), where she is currently living.
