My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jax N Sox (born May/2013) black and white tuxedo male, aka Mr. Terrific Whiskers! and
Belle’s Blue (born late August/2013) blue point ragdoll female

Special adoption fee for the pair

December update: Belle and Jax continue to be affectionate, playful, busy, curious kittens and are rapidly becoming personal assistants! Bastet has taught them to open cabinet doors, which they do on a regular basis, happily exploring whatever they get open! Closets? Same. Danny taught them to drink out of the bathroom faucet; now, they race each other to the bathroom sink. They (usually) come when called, love their wet food, love laps when they are tired, and would probably love to sleep with their person if allowed! They remain a bit shy and sensitive and need a gentle, quieter household.
Original:
Lively Jax was returned for being way too rambunctious for his first situation, and Belle came hissing and growling from a shelter situation. These two wonderful kittens arrived at their foster mom’s two days apart and quickly became fast friends. Both explore everywhere, love their cat tunnel and boxes, play with anything, including clothing not put away, and play hard, needing plenty of toys switched out to keep their attentions. Both LOVE to chase anything and each other. Belle still growls and hisses when play gets rough but immediately jumps back into the fray, so that may just be her M.O. as we understand that her mother was the same. Both also love their humans, requiring plenty of human time for playing, petting, and loving. Other cats? Both are careful around their foster mom’s big Maine Coon, even though he gives them regular baths and tries to play with them, and both are very, very respectful of their foster mom’s Egyptian mau. The two kittens would probably work best as an only pair or with other kittens. Dogs? Dogs are still an unknown. Children? Although easily startled, both kittens are very loving, so if children are gentle and respectful, the situation should work.

If you can give this loving pair a forever home, contact Kathy at kjr610e@comcast.net and fill in an application found at purebredsplus.org. Jax and Belle have already been neutered and spayed, tested, vaccinated, and microchipped; they are fostered in Davis, CA.
We always require families with children to bring their children to the adoption appointment, so we can observe the child’s behavior and how the kittens react. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
