Here's what the humans have to say about me:
You can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose, but you can’t your friend’s nose. Well I beg to differ! If I get my tongue just right, I could have your nostrils as free as that bird Skynard sings about! Sure I may be a little ruff around the edges. Get it? Ruff around the edges! I prefer the term 'unconditioned'. Don't worry, I got plenty of time to learn new tricks if someone were so inclined to teach me. I get pretty amped pretty quick , and just need to learn how to harness my energy and express my excitement in more appropriate ways. So it's important I find a family with children who are old enough to know how to take things slow and easy and not let play time get out of hand, or 'off the hook' …however kids are saying it nowadays. I get along with other dogs well enough, and am having a blast with all my pack mates here at the shelter. I could even share my home with cats as long as they were dog savvy and didn’t mind running a couple laps around the house. I am learning this crate training thing and giving it a pretty good go. Pick me and I promise you will have a friend who will pick you back! That’s why they call me Picker! 2 years old-16lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes; neuter, microchip, reduced cost Training Class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.
