Patches's Story...
Patches was an owner turn in at a local shelter by a family who no longer had time for her. She is around 5 years old and was raised with children. She does well with people of any age. She is good with dogs but prefers calm, mature dogs. She likes nothing more than to sun herself by her family's feet, go for walks and loves car rides. She would be perfect for apartment and small space living, and would make a great companion for seniors. She is housebroken, well past the chewing stage and is very quiet and neat. If you are interested in meeting Patches or would more information please contact Laurel at or 760-877-1757.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patches, a Anza Chow Chow/Setter (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow/Setter (Unknown Type) for sale in Anza, or seeking a Chow Chow/Setter (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Anza.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Anza already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Anza breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow/Setter (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Chow Chow/Setter (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Anza paves the way for another one to be saved.
