I am already neutered, housetrained, and up to date with shots.
Tucker is a sweet ol' Lab fellow 10 years (or so) old. Tucker's owner had to move to a place that won't allow dogs so now Tucker is searching for a great new family that will love him in his senior years. Tucker does nicely in his kennel and appears fully house trained. Tucker has a firm but subdued voice and seemed to "correct" his kennel mates when they became a bit noisy and demanding for a walk or breakfast. He is very nice on lead and very happy to be out and about, his manners are good and he knows several commands like sit, stay, etc... Tucker appears to be an "easy keeper" eats his food without complaints, likes treats and finds kongs with peanut butter very interesting. Tucker seems to be ok with other dogs but needs a home without cats. He would be a good fit in a home geared to be laid back and move at a slower pace. Tucker will make a good evening buddy curled up in front of the TV or perhaps a roaring fire.
If you want to apply for Tucker click here. You can then email the application to the Meridian Humane Society.Applications are now being accepted, and a visitation with the dog is encouraged. All applications will be considered and the adoption coordinator will call the person chosen to adopt the dog after the available date.
