Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tela is a darling kitty. She was born on the 4th of July and is a pretty, black and white, 9 yr old domestic short-hair. She’s a big girl with a big heart. Sweet and affectionate; very mellow with a soft meow. If you talk to her she will talk to you! She's not a chatterbox, but she will tell you about how she's feeling at the moment. She absolutely LOVES to be brushed, because who doesn't like a good hair day?
Tela has very nice manners, unless you're eating cheese or turkey-jerky! Then you might find that begging for a bite is in her repertoire. Other than that, she is a perfect lady around the house.
Tela views a vacant lap as an opportunity for a nice curl-up and appreciative purr. A little kneading action is part of her bonus plan. And tummy rubs are the cat's meow as far as she's concerned. She'll fall on her side and roll over to earn one. If you're laying down she may just tickle your neck with a nose nuzzle.
For fun she likes to play with string and dive under a rug for unseen treasure. Shoelaces or a shiny, scrunchy ball are favored toys. You can watch her having fun or you can play too! She won't mind, either way!
As for health needs, she would benefit from a high fiber diet. A little plain canned pumpkin added to her meals, or some pumpkin based cat food makes for a happy tummy.
Tela is waiting for her chance to find a loving, forever home. If you have been waiting for a gentle, furry friend to spend time with, then Tela would like to join you on the sofa. Do you have a warm lap for Tela to curl up on?
She is being reluctantly given up because a new human addition to the household has severe allergies.
