Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lovey is the new four legged office employee at Cobb. Lovey applied for office assistant at Cobb County Animal Control, and because she is SO WONDERFUL, she got the job! She is a GORGEOUS GIRL. You can find her hanging out in the front office during the day, "supervising"! Lovey is AS SWEET AS CAN BE and LOVES TO GIVE KISSES!! It appears SHE IS GOOD WITH KIDS AND OTHER DOGS. Lovey and Dovie (who has been adopted) had an owner who was not a good person and neglected these two sweet girls. They were picked up by Animal Control on Sept. 26th, which makes Lovey one of the longest residents here. They were in really bad shape but with the good care from the staff at AC they became strong and healthy again. Lovey is a SWEET and CUTE lady, weighing in originally at 23 lbs. however she now weighs about 50 lbs. She is about 2 years old and spayed, but sadly she tested positive for heart worms so she will need to be treated for those right away HOWEVER LOVEY HAS A SPONSOR WHO WILL PAY FOR HER HEARTWORM TREATMENT regardless if she is adopted or rescued. Check with your vet for the best options. With Dovie being adopted now Lovey is alone. She is waiting in run 861 and has been micro chipped. Her shots are all up to date. Lovey's ID# is 562819. Lovey was adopted but returned because "the kids did not bond" in 2 days.
