My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there everybody!! Granger here again!! I am 1 year old (born 3/8/13) and I weigh about 45 lbs.
I surrendered to the pound by my owner, I was adopted, then returned, then adopted again, and well, I was just returned to the shelter for the second time.
I am a very, very sweet and loving little coonie boy. I am desperate to find a home that is "mine". A home that loves me and understands me for who I am. I am a typical 1 year old coonhound. I LOVE other dogs and I love to play. I have a high energy level, so I need a home where I can get plenty of exercise. I will play for a while with the other dogs, but then I come and lay down with my people or on the dog beds or wherever. I am the sweetest boy with people of all sizes. I am very kind and gentle. I love being loved on and I love to give kisses.
The last people who took me home absolutely loved me and they were very sad they had to bring me back, but I was just too much for them. The didn't have a fenced in yard, so they walked me over a mile every day, but it just wasn't enough for me. They didn't have any other dogs for me to play with either, which is how I burn a lot of my energy off. The pound suggests that I go to a home with other dog so that I have someone to play with. Even though I am such a great boy with the other dogs (and was even okay with a neighborhood cat) but the pound suggests that I go to a home without small animals because I can play kind of rough and they wouldn't want me to accidentally hurt another animal.
If you're looking for a super sweet coonie to add to your family, please consider adopting me!!

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
