Gus's Story...
My name is Gus and I'm an approximately 8 month old bundle of bouncy boxer joy. I love to play with other dogs and toys. I know how to sit and am doing great with housebreaking. I am even crate trained. Cats remind me of my squeaky toys so I just don't understand why they won't play with me so my foster mom says I need only "dog savvy" kitties that can train me. I just love my people and can't wait to greet my new family with the happy wigglebutt dance only us boxers do for the rest of my life. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gus, a Brattleboro Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
