My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You will never believe this... they tell me that I can talk! Gee, I didn't know they could understand me! You see, when I bark - they say it sounds just like "I love you!"

I am Rosalin and I am such a pretty girl. I have beautiful thick fur that is shiny black with a light tan face, chest and leggings. I am a Husky mix so you can just imagine how soft my fur is. They think I was born in November, 2012.

I had a family that I thought loved me... I know I loved them. They were moving and I watched them pack and load the car...and I waited for them to come get me for our ride to our new home. Sadly, they left without me....they never planned to take me with them....they abandoned me, with no food or water. How could they have just left me? Not even a hug goodbye or a care of what would happen to me. My heart was broken.

Thankfully, the Humane Society came and rescued me...right before a high kill shelter was scheduled to pick me up. They called it 'removing an unwanted animal.' I am so relieved to be safe. I have met some wonderfully kind people and lots of new fur friends here at the shelter. I have a warm bed, lots of fresh water, food and treats. I love to play with anyone and every one. I go for walks with the volunteers to practice walking on a leash.

Do you have room in your heart and home for me? I am the sweetest, most affectionate puppy girl you will ever meet. When I meet you and you take me home, you will hear me talking to you every day...telling you how much 'I love you.'
