Snickers's Story...
Meet Snickers! Snickers is a 7 month old kitty with a heart of gold! Snickers is a super sweet, cuddly little girl who loves to be held and pet all the time. She is very calm and doesn't mind much of anything. Despite being a sweet heart, she is often overlooked and we are still not sure why! Snickers waits patiently for someone to see what we see when we look into her loving eyes, and take her home!

We spay/neuter all of our cats and they receive the necessary medical care including Rabies and Distemper vaccines, deworming, de-fleaing and testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV.

Care for Animals is located at 2944 Post Rd. Warwick, RI 02886. You are welcome to visit during hospital hours. Our hours are Monday 8-7, Tuesday – Thursday 8-5 and Friday 9-3. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snickers, a Warwick Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Warwick, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Warwick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warwick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warwick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warwick paves the way for another one to be saved.
