My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Talk about a sweet and gentle boy-Howie is the ideal Golden mix for a family who is looking for a settled dog who enjoys some activity but is more than happy to sun himself in the back yard, lay by your feet or go for short walks when his owner is in the mood to do so. He's a very undemanding boy who is experiencing many new sites and joys in his wonderful foster home. Coming from a shelter, we don't know his background but suspect he had a pretty limited life with little joy. He's a wonderful boy in the house and is very eager to spend his time there if his new family prefers but also enjoys a ride in the car, especially to the bank where they give goodies to doggie passengers at the drive up window!!
Howie is 3-4 years old, is a Golden mix, is neutered, current on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, wormed and happy as can be now that he's living the good life. He does have a little birth defect on one of his feet (you can't see if because fur grows over it) but it does become uncomfortable after walking a long distance so this boy will be the perfect fellow to be adopted by someone who is more of a homebody, works from home, is a senior citizen and doesn't get out much or someone who wants an all around GREAT dog!!
