My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Genie is what you would call a true mini dachshund. She is a little shy at first, but treats are sure to win her over. She is a beautiful girl who is loving and loyal. Genie could be an only dog, but she also gets along fine with male dachsunds, best not to put her with other dominant females. She is well mannered in the house, but she has been known to get into things, like plants or your purse! So she will need appropriate toys and chewing distractions to keep her busy. Genie can not be crated, she panics and fights to get out, so she would need to be adopted by a family who is ok with gating her in a specific area, but not crating her.
